PROJECT:
Anderson Garden
STATUS:
Completed, 2018
LOCATION:
Cincinnati, Ohio
This project, initiated in 2018 for a private residential client in Cincinnati, involved the
complete transformation of a steep, underutilized hillside backyard into a programmable,
terraced landscape. von Euw Tetrault served as both architect and general contractor, managing
all aspects of the design/build process.
The design introduced a series of terraces structured with a mix of hardscape and softscape
elements, offering flexibility for everyday use and encouraging indoor-outdoor living. Local
fieldstone was used to construct retaining walls, while a thoughtfully curated planting palette
supported native wildlife and seasonal interest.
Team members involved include Federica von Euw, Andrew Tetrault.
